Our Coconut Apricot Creme wax, also referred to as Ceda-Serica by Calwax, is a carefully crafted blend of coconut and apricot waxes, chosen to create a bright white appearance. It excels in delivering an exceptional fragrance throw (both hot and cold), evenness in burn and wax consumption, and superb container adhesion for candles. The wax comes in slab form and is formulated for a single pour, resulting in very smooth tops.

Crafted in the USA, our Coco Apricot wax is gluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free. This versatile wax is capable of supporting a fragrance load of 8 - 12%.

Wicking Tip for Coconut Blended Waxes:

Coconut blended waxes differ significantly from regular soy wax in their burning characteristics. Unlike 100% soy wax, which tends to retain a 'memory' and can tunnel, coconut blended waxes exhibit less of this behavior. When using coconut blended waxes, it's common not to see a full melt pool until the candle is about halfway burnt. At the beginning of the burn, there may be some wax residue or 'hang up' on the sides of the jar. However, as the candle burns and the heat from the wick warms the sides of the jar, this leftover wax will melt. During wick testing, it's crucial to monitor several aspects: ensure that the jar doesn’t become too hot to hold, observe for any soot formation along the rim of the vessel, and aim for the melt pool to reach a temperature between 140 - 160°F. This careful attention ensures a safe and effective candle burning experience.

Shipping Insights

  1. USPS Shipping: While USPS does not guarantee exact transit times, we provide average estimated durations for each method. For instance, USPS First Class Mail, suitable for US orders under 13 ounces, typically reaches its destination within 3-5 days. USPS Flat Rate and Priority Mail have their own respective timeframes and conditions.
  2. 2. UPS Services: As of March 24, 2020, UPS has temporarily suspended its service guarantee for certain services. However, packages usually reach within the standard timeframes. Options include UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Hundredweight, each with its own set of conditions and benefits.
  3. LTL Services: TForce Freight, previously known as UPS Freight, offers the LTL (Less than Truck Load) service. Suitable for orders weighing 300 lbs or more within the US, this method can offer significant savings on shipping costs.
  4. Shipping to Canada: For our Canadian patrons, we offer UPS Standard and UPS Worldwide Expedited. Both methods have their own advantages and delivery timeframes.

A Few Tips to Remember

- When selecting USPS, refer to our USPS Shipping Cheat Sheet for guidance.

- UPS shipping rates vary based on factors like the number of boxes, weight, size, and distance. For instance, adding small items to a case of wax might necessitate a second box, leading to a noticeable increase in shipping costs. Sometimes, placing two separate orders might be more economical.

- The Shipping Estimate tool is a valuable resource to determine the most cost-effective shipping method.

- For larger orders, UPS Hundredweight or TForce Freight might offer substantial savings.

For Canadian Orders

While we currently don't offer freight services to Canada, UPS Standard accommodates larger orders seamlessly. For expedited delivery, consider UPS Worldwide Expedited.

We invite you to explore our detailed articles and resources for a deeper understanding of each shipping method. At Scentivore, we're dedicated to ensuring your products reach you in the most efficient possible.

Coco Apricot

Great wax! Arrived in summer and it was pretty soft upon delivered. The hot throw would be best after curing for at least 2 weeks.
